Mechanical properties of polycrystalline praseodymium from 78 to 525 K

  • 1. Ames Lab., Iowa (USA)

Description

The flow stress temperature dependence, strain rate sensitivity, strain hardening exponent and ductility of praseodymium were determined from 78 to 525 K at strain rates of 0.005, 0.01, 0.1, and 1.0 min-1. The results are presented and the similarity of the properties of praseodymium to those of neodymium is discussed. (Auth.)
