Description
The structure of more than 1700 nuclei has been studied with microscopic models using the Gogny interaction. The comparison with experimental data shows that harmonic vibrations are very rare in nuclei and that the predictions are all the better as nuclei are far from magic numbers. The comparison between experimental data and predictions is good for deformed nuclei particularly for the following ranges: 3090). (A.C.)
