Description
During 1978-1980 the photometric observations of V 1016 Cyg in the UBVRJHKLMN system were performed. The observations show that the optical brightness of the star (UBVR) was constant with an accuracy +-0sup(m).2, but its IR radiation varied with the amplitude ΔK appoximately 1sup(m) at a timescale approximately 500Rsup(d). The form of the R spectrum of V 1016 Cyg, when the star is at the maximum of its IR brightness, evidently indicates a presence of a cold component in this system. The cold component is surrounded by a dust shell having a mass Msub(g, in) approximately 3x10-7 Msub(Sun). The external dust shell surrounding both components and radiating in the observable IR range has the inner radius approximately 1015 cm and the mass Msub(g, out) approximately 10-6 Msub(Sun). The luminosity of the hot star is approximately four times greater than that of the cold component at the maximum of its brightness and apparently is not less than 1038 erg/s
