Concluding remarks on double β decay

Creators

  • 1. National Science Foundation, Washington, DC

Description

Discussions of double β decay are summarized. Neutrinoless double β decay has important consequences in particle physics relating to the nature of the neutrino. There is a need to attempt to observe double β decay experimentally and, if it exists, to determine the mechanism by which it occurs
