Theory of heavy-particle collisions
Description
The production of coherent, aligned or oriented states of projectile or target atoms as a result of a collision are discussed. The author attempts to solve the problem of the motion of a number of electrons in the combined field of two nuclei in close collision. Four possible choices of the six independent co-ordinates required for the motion of two nuclei and one electron are presented
