The study on separation of Krypton and Xenon from fission products

  • 1. Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology, Xi'an (China)

Description

In the gas fission product of 235U contains some noble gases such as Kr and Xe. They have many uses in many aspects. But the separation of both is of some difficulties because of their similar physical and chemical characters. The present feasible processing methods make use of the strong adsorption property of activated charcoal, molecular sieve and other material at low temperature and have gained better recovery. In this papers we discussed the separation and purification of them. (author)
