Experiences of running dCache at a Tier-1 Center

Description

The GridKa computing center is Germany's Tier-1 center for all four LHC experiments. The storage system is managed by dCache a joint development of Desy and FNAL. The dCache tape connection is managed by IBM's Tivoly Storage Manager (TSM). DCache allows fast and reliable storage and retrieval of data and supports among others the SRM interface. The talk will focus on experiences using dCache at Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe and on future plans
