A revisited model for the binary X-ray source 3U1700-37 = HD 153919
Description
We have estimated the wind parameters of the 06f star in the binary system 3U1700-37. The mass loss is about 1.4 x 10-5M(sun)/y and the wind (terminal) velocity is about 2,700 km s-1. With these parameters, we have estimated also the optical depth in the accretion cone, which agrees well with the observations. (WL)

Die Windparameter des 06 f Sterns im binaeren System 3U1700-37 wurden geschaetzt. Der Massenverlust betraegt etwa 1,4 x 10-5 M (sun)/y und die Windgeschwindigkeit (Endgeschwindigkeit) etwa 2.700 km s-1. Mit diesen Parametern wurde auch die optische Tiefe im Akkretionskegel geschaetzt, die mit den Beobachtungen gut uebereinstimmt. (WL)Additional details
