Electrical properties of lead-doped LaCoO3 single crystals
- 1. Bordeaux-1 Univ., 33 - Talence (France)
Description
Single crystals of lanthanum cobaltite are prepared using a PbO/PbF2 flux technique. Their electrical properties are investigated between 20 and 800 K. The thermal variations of Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity are explained taking into account lead doping of single crystals due to the preparation technique. Three different conduction mechanisms, succesively prevailing at rising temperature, are discussed. (author)
