2017, a record year for climate. Overview of the main extreme meteorological events of the year
Description
An increasing number of storms, heat waves, droughts and even floods were experienced right around the world in 2017, and the significant economic impact of such events (over $400 bn) is forcing us to take note of what is happening. Carbone 4 has put together this summary of the meteorological events that occurred over the course of the year. This publication is designed to help players to realise just how great an impact climate change is having through a series of examples taken from all around the world

Tempetes, vagues de chaleur, secheresse ou encore inondations se sont multipliees tout autour du globe en 2017. Leurs impacts economiques considerables (plus de 400 Mds de dollars) forcent a la prise de conscience. Carbone 4 vous propose ici une synthese des evenements meteorologiques qui ont marque cette annee. Une publication qui a pour objectif d'aider les acteurs a saisir la materialite des impacts du changement climatique a travers des exemples pris dans le monde entier
