Description
This chapter discusses some physical consequences for the p-p-system if the result of positive and rather large shift ΔE /SUB 1s/ are confirmed in future experiments at the Low-Energy Antiproton Ring (LEAR) on high-precision p-p-atoms spectroscopy. An equation is presented for calculating the atomic spectrum for large values of shift. It is indicated that large hyperfine splitting of the 1s-levels with spin s=0 and s=1 is possible for the p-p-atom
