Investigation of technical possibility of stationary modes and possibilities of power exchange during during parallel operation of power systems of Bulgaria, Romania, Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Albania and Greece together with Turkish power system

  • 1. National Electric Company, Sofia (Bulgaria)

Description

The investigation is conducted as a part of a more general investigation, consigned by the Greek electric company PPC to the Bulgarian National electric company on the base of a contract between PPC and the European Commission. The aim of the investigation is analyzing and assessment of the technical admissibility of the stationary modes for the different topologies of the high voltage electric networks of the South-Eastern Europe and the possibilities of electric energy exchange for parallel work with the electric Turkish system (EEC). The investigations of the power systems show the possibility for exchange of significant electric power (up to 1600 MW) between some of the power system, working in parallel, and the Turkish power system
