Description

Influence of chemical elements as impurities in steels on erosion-corrosion wear (ECW) of NPP equipment and piping is considered. Calculated dependences and tables provided permit ascertaining the influence of impurities (chromium and copper) and their content on ECW for considered range of their content in steels. Impurity elements, chromium in particular, in steels increase service life characteristics of elements of NPP equipment and piping during ECW
