Description
The complexity of polymers facilitates the use of symmetry. Before the groups of symmetry of polymers are analyzed, their use for specific polymer, and relevance of the obtained results is discussed. The program POLSym, dealing with several problems in polymer physics, is then applied to study the DNA molecule. (N.T.)
