Search of metastable states with lifetimes more than 5 ms in Pb target irradiated by 60-70 GeV protons

Description
Search for delayed high energy radiation from Pb target irradiated by 61 and 70 GeV protons has been made. Such radiation can arise if hypothetical long-lived particles are produced in collisions of protons and target nuclei and are captured in nuclear matter. The life-time range from 5 ms to day has been investigated. Delayed radiation has not been observed. The upper limit of the process searched for is 10-34-10-35 cm2/Pb nucleus
