Collective periodic orbits in a model nucleus
Creators

Description
Periodic orbit families are calculated for a one-dimensional nuclear model in the mean field approximation. Phase space is 20-dimensional. The essential element which makes the calculation possible is the fact that the two conservation laws (probability and energy) are still exactly satisfied after the discretization of the equations of motion. copyright 1995 American Institute of Physics
