Limited pulsed currents for anodic dissolution of tungsten in alkali with a rotating disk electrode and under free-convection conditions

Description

It has been shown by means of experiments using a rotating disk electrode that currently employed methods of threshold diffusion currents calculation under pulsed conditions, elaborated for cathodic separation of metals, can be used for quantitative evaluation of threshold pulsed currents of tungsten dissolution in an alkali. In can of long enough pulse duration (10-1s), the influence of pulsed conditions parameters on tungsten dissolution threshold current under free convection conditions is pronounced to a greater extent than under conditions of a rotating disk electrode
