Study of vanadium(5) complexing in chloride-containing hydrochloric acid solutions

Description
Composition of vanadium(5) complexes in the system V(5)-HCl-LiCl at ionic force of 11.0 mol/l and vanadium(5) concentration above 0.03 mol/l was studied by the methods of IR, Raman and 51V NMR absorption spectroscopy. It is shown that depending on hydrochloric acid concentration (CHCl) in solution two types of vanadium(5) complexes are observed; at CHCl 0.1-1.0 mol/l tetrachloride complexes of vanadium(5) dioxycation [VO2Cl4]3-, at CHCl ≥ 1.0 mol/l tetrachloride complexes of vanadium(5) monooxycation [VOCl4]-
Abstract (Russian)
Методами ИК, КР, ЯМР 51V и абсорбционной спектроскопии изучен состав комплексов ванадия(5) в системе V(5)-HCl-LiCl при ионной силе 11.0 моль/л и концентрации ванадия(5) более 0.03 моль/л. Показано, что в зависимости от концентрации соляной кислоты (CHCl) в растворе существуют два типа комплексов ванадия(5): при CHCl = 0.1-1.0 моль/л образуются тетрахлоридные комплексы диоксикатиона ванадия(5) [VO2Cl4]3-, при CHCl ≥ 1.0 моль/л существуют тетрахлоридные комплексы монооксокатиона ванадия(5) [VOCl4]-Additional details
