Carbon isotope ratios and iron/hydrogen ratios in K giants
Description
C12/C13 ratios and iron/hydrogen ratios in the atmospheres of K giants are shown to be correlated. Stars which have unexpectedly low isotope ratios are either high-luminosity stars or metal-deficient giants. (author)
