Electrical properties of extruded specimens of solid solutions of Bi2Te3-Sb2Te3 system
Description
The extrusion method has been used to prepare polycrystalline samples of solid solutions of the Bi2Te3-Sb2Te3 of t-type conductivity with thermoelectric efficiency close to the efficiency of monocrystals of the same composition. Results of complex research of Hall coefficient (R), thermal e.m.f. (δα)electric conductivity (σ) and Hernst-Ettinghausen coefficient (N-E) of these samples in the 77-300 deg K temperature range and 0.76x1019-6.40x1019 cm-3 hole concentration are given. the data obtained are used to determine the effective mass of state density for holes and the structure of the valent zone of material studied is investigated
