Description

This study describes for the first time the calculated low-lying negative and positive parity states of the antimony isotope 110Sb. The large-scale shell model calculations have been carried out in the sdgh major shell for this odd-odd isotope by using CD-Bonn and Nijmegen1 effective interactions. The results are compared to the most recent experimental data and found to be in good agreement with experiment. Our calculations show that the isomeric state 8- is a characteristic of most of the odd-odd antimony isotopes from 132Sb down to 108Sb
