Description
It is calculated that the factorial moments of the pseudorapidity distribution of the photons emitted in the Pb + Pb central collisions at 158 A GeV energy in the pseudorapidity interval 3.5≤η≤4.0 in the WA98 experiment at CERN (SPS) using a fine granularity preshower photon multiplicity detector (PMD)
