The in tract of radiotherapy on proteolytic activity in patients with rectal cancer

Description

In patients, who received preoperative radiotherapy, high activity of acidic proteinases in blood and tissues were determined. The concentration of alpha1-proteinase inhibitors was increased in tumor and normal mucosa. The level of alpha2-macroglobulin in blood serum was lower than in the controls
