Raman scattering in a single-mode silica fiber
Description
Multiwavelength output resulted when a pure silica fiber was pumped with 532 nm radiation of frequency doubled Nd:YAG laser. This Multiwavelength output can be explained by using a four photon process of spontaneous Raman scattering. Anomalous fluorescence like generation was also observed at higher frequencies
