Description

The φ meson, due to its nature of interaction with the hadronic matter decouples near the transition temperature. Therefore, the study of the φ mesons can be used as an efficient tool to characterize the matter near the QCD phase transition boundary. The thermodynamic degrees of freedom have been estimated from available experimental results
