Description
As a result of the increase in the number of foreigners living in Germany and in the number of patients with AIDS, there will also be an increase in the incidence of abdominal tuberculosis in Germany. The following report describes the case of a 24-year-old female patient with peritoneal tuberculosis, the most common manifestation of abdominal tuberculosis. Computed tomography showed typical pathological alterations; the diagnosis was confirmed by intralaparascopic biopsy. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Aufgrund der steigenden Anzahl von auslaendischen Mitbuegern und von HIV-infizierten Personen muss in Zukunft wieder mit einer Zunahme der abdominellen Tuberkulose auch in Deutschland gerechnet werden. Im folgenden wird ueber eine 24jaehrige Patientin mit Peritonealtuberkulose, der haeufigsten abdominellen Manifestationsform der Tuberkulose, berichtet. Die Computertomographie zeigte typische pathologische Veraenderungen, die Laparaskopie mit Biopsie sicherte die Diagnose. (orig.)Additional details
