Description

This review deals with the inorganic and coordination chemistry of molybdenum and tungsten cited in Chemical Abstracts, Volumes 102 and 103. Organometallic chemistry, including carbonyl chemistry, is not included formally, but reference is made to some papers of general interest. The primary criterion of ordering the material is the oxidation state of the metals and within each oxidation state the ordering is determined by the type of donor atom. With mixed ligand complexes the compounds are described in terms of the dominant ligand type. 221 refs.; 92 schemes
