Extraction of alkaline earth elements by mixtures of 5-amylthio-8-oxyguinoline and phosphoryl-containing reagents

Extraction of alkaline earth elements by 5-amylthio-8-oxyquinoline (ATOQ) is the presence of phosphoryl-containing reagents (podands and phosphine oxides) in chloroform was studied. Synergetic increase of AEE extraction is explained by solvation of extracted complexes by phosphoryl-containing molecules. Stoichiometry of extracted complexes was determined. It was shown that extraction of AEE from aqueous phase increased when ATOQ was applied on polymer macroporous sorbent in comparison with liquid extraction. But the value of synergetic effect in the presence of phosphoryl-containing compounds in solid phase is less than at liquid extraction
