MHD Hele-Shaw flow of dusty elastico-viscous Oldroyd model liquid through porous media
Description
In the present paper an attempt has been made to study the unsteady Hele-Shaw flow of a conducting dusty elastic viscous (Oldroyd model) liquid embedded with uniform non-conducting dust particles through porous media under the influence of uniform transverse magnetic field. The motion takes place between two parallel planes z = ± a, past a circular cylinder x2+y2=a2, -a < z < +a under the influence of time dependent pressure gradient. Expressions for velocities of visco-elastic liquid and dust particles are obtained by the application of operational methods. The particular case when pressure gradient is proportional to e-nt has also been discussed in detail. (author)
