Analysis on temperature profiles of KALIMER breakeven core subassemblies

Description
Temperature profiles of KALIMER breakeven core subassemblies were calculated with single subassembly and inter-subassembly model by MATRA-LMR Code. Calculation references were DR0302 driver and 1B0503/RB0704 blanket subassemblies. As calculation results, the peak outlet temperature of breakeven core was predicted about 564.3 .deg. C. In case of BOCI core, inter-subassembly calculation results showed that the edge subchannel temperatures were predicted higher than single subassembly by 15 ∼ 28 .deg. C range. Thus the code is capable of predicting the temperature profile calculation with inter-subassembly heat transfer model
