Application of ion exchange technology to nuclide separation and isotope separation in nuclear energy chemistry

Description

Many kinds of chemical operations are required in the nuclear engineering field, regardless fission or fusion engineerings. The chemical filed supported in this nuclear engineering is called as the nuclear energy chemistry. The nuclide separation and isotope separation are ones of the most important and most necessary techniques for the nuclear fuel cycle engineering, the reactor chemical engineering, etc. among the nuclear engineering field. I have been studying the application of ion exchange to the nuclide separation and the isotope separation in the nuclear energy chemistry. In the present paper, this application is introduced. 原子力工学分野では,核分裂・核融合に係わらず,種々の化学的な操作が必要とされており,これら原子力工学分野における化学は原子力化学(Nuclear Energy Cheimistry)と総称されるが,その中で核種分離や同位体分離は,核燃料サイクルや炉化学等で欠かせないものである。著者はイオン交換の技術を原子力化学分野における核種分離および同位体分離への応用した研究を行っており,本論文では,これら研究成果について解説する。(著者)
