Thermal stability of thiocarbamide coordination compounds of terbium-, dysprosium-, holmium- and erbium chlorides
Creators
Description
Thiocarbamide coordination compounds of the MCl3x1.25 CS(NH2)2x5H2O composition, where M-Tb, Dy, Ho, Er are obtained for the first time. The individuality of these agents is shown by the chemical and X-ray analyses. On the basis of the infrared spectroscopy data the assumption is made that thiocarbamide sulfur atom takes art in the chemical bond formation. The thermal decomposition of thiocarbamide compounds of lanthanum chlorides has been studied by the thermography, thermogravimetry methods combined with the chemical, X-ray-phase analyses and infrared spectroscopy and it has been established that partial dehydration of investigated compounds occurs at 80 deg C; full thiocarbamide isometrization into the rhodonate of ammonium takes place at 140 deg C; terbium oxychloride formation is observed at 380 deg C; for dysprosium oxychloride - 400 deg C; for holmium- and erbium oxychlorides - 515 deg C
