A microscopic model for heavy fermions

  • 1. Universidade Federal Fluminense, Niteroi, RJ (Brazil)

Description

In this chapter we will consider a model for heavy fermions introduced by Moriya and Takimoto (1995). It consists of a regular lattice of f-moments which interact with an electron gas and through this gas with themselves. The Hamiltonian which describes the interaction between the f-moments is give.
