Description
A previously proposed approximate method for computing Gamow vectors and momenta is applied to construct a separable representation of a local realistic nucleon-nucleon interaction. It is shown that, in spite of the differences between the exact and approximate vectors and momenta, the resulting separable form gives close agreement with the original local potential for phases and the half-off-shell t matrix
