A scanning photodetector for fast tomographic spectroscopy: A charged coupled device or a dissector?
Description
Tomographic spectroscopy when monitoring plasma can reconstruct the spectral radiance coordinate distribution in a plasma volume from radiation measurements along several directions. Various scanning photoelectric detectors and their application to the tomographic spectroscopy of high-speed processes, including uniform ones, are compared. It is shown that dissectors can be used for this purpose. 21 refs
