Chemical effects on beryllium K X-ray spectra produced by heavy ion bombardment

Description
Beryllium X-ray spectra from Be and BeO target by proton, helium, nitrogen and argon ion bombardment have been measured. In the oxide, chemical shifts of Ksub(α) and Ksub(α)sup(2) X-ray lines are similar magnitude and the intense satellite KL and hypersatellite K2L lines are observed by heavy ion bombardment. (Auth.)
