Destructive methods of determination of fuel burnup in thermal reactors

Description

Rewiev of publications has been given in the paper which are dealing with main methods used for determination of the burnup degree in nuclear fuels. First of all, attention is paid to the methods which ensure the highest accuracy in determination of the burnup magnitude. In details some of the stages are discussed in application of the analytical methods for determination of the fuel burnup. These methods are discussed both from methodologicat point of wiev and in the experimentat respect. Estimation has been given of these methods from the point of wiev of precision of the result which can be obtained. The rewiev has summarizes publications in the field of determination of the fuel burnup degree which have been published during last five years period and gives them estimations
