Microstructural aspects of moisture adsorption of Al2O3-B4C compacts

The moisture adsorption behaviour of Al2O3-B4C composite pellets has been studied over a wide range of fabrication variables and pellet densities. The affinity for moisture is determined primarily by the mean size of the fine pores. (author)
