Problems of supplying radiation purity of the AN SSSR IYaI meson factory intense linear accelerator

Description

Problems concerning expansion of beam phase volume during acceleration in the meson factory linear accelerator, limiting the average current and increasing accelerator radiative contamination are considered. Radiation load for the accelerator equipment can be decreased by reducing the lost particle number and localization of these losses. 6 refs
