Description

Process computers perform important tasks in power stations with regard to environmental protection. Grohnde power station has been provided with measuring stations which monitor a 70 km stretch of the River Weser to meet the stringent requirements imposed by the authorities. The process computer is responsible for data storage and evaluation. Based on an extensive range of general conditions, the process computer establishes the optimal coding cycle for the power station. (orig.)
