Comments on the metallicity and frequencies of the σ Scuti star BDS 1269 A
Description
An argument is presented that the metallicity of BDS 1269 A may be normal. Rucinski's (1978) frequency analysis is repeated with data prewhitening. The presence of third and fourth frequencies near f1 = 6.35 day-1 is indicated. Comparison is made with other σ Scuti stars. There is no discrepancy between the apparent magnitude difference and absolute magnitude difference between components A and B of BDS 1269 within the errors of the absolute magnitude determination.
