The isospin invariance and quantum distances in the Hilbert space of scattering amplitudes

Description
In this paper, the quantum distances between two charge (isospin, U-spin, V-spin, etc.) channels, in the Hilbert space of the scattering amplitudes, are defined. These quantum distances (QD) are expressed in terms of the channel cross sections via isospin (U-spin, V-spin, etc.) invariance. The essential features as well as the energy behaviour of the QD, for the pion-nucleon scattering are presented. (Author) 21 Refs
