Description
The Improve the fuel model used allows deeper understanding of the behavior of the same accident conditions, definitely contributing to increased nuclear safety. In this paper BWR fuel models developed for the therma hydraulic code of NRC TRACE in order to implement a complete core in a plant model BWR / 6 are presented. Having a full kernel in the plant model eliminates the dependence of collapsed models and allows direct analysis of the stability of reactor in the time domain. (Author)
