Influence of the movement of a structure on the development of the boundary layer
Description
The presence of a fluid can greatly modify the vibrational behaviour of a structure. Such fluid-structure interactions in nuclear facilities can lead to severe accidents, in particular in the coolant circuits. The displacement of a plate submitted to a stress induced by the flow of an incompressible fluid is examined and modeled in order to study the influence of the movement of a structure on the development of the boundary layer.
