Description
The aim of this paper is to provide a brief overview of emerging applications of nuclear technology, and specifically the use of ionizing radiation (γ, e-) in obtaining nanogels. It describes various methods for obtaining these materials biocompatible and potential applications thereof, notably in the controlled drug delivery. It is proposed to continue experimentation path for an organic system the polyvinyl alcohol. We conclude that the nanogels produced by radiation techniques are particularly suitable and attractive for biomedical applications because they are not containing impurities of initiators, monomers and other additives.
