Establishment of Reference Radiation Qualities for Mammography at the BIPM

  • 1. Bureau International des Poids et Mesures, Sevres Cedex (France)

Description

An X ray tube with a molybdenum anode was installed at the BIPM. Four radiation qualities were established as international reference beams for mammography comparisons and calibrations. A new primary standard was constructed at the BIPM to be used for the dosimetry of these beams. (author)
