Description
The paper discusses the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) and specific project management best practices during design stages of an environmental restoration project at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS) in South Carolina. It emphasizes the importance of an empowered, flexible and responsible project team to best reflect the translation of contractor resources into customer needs when faced with changes in funding level and schedules. 7 figs
