Position on minimum thickness of the flow interior of Candidate Repository Horizons
Description
A linear elastic analysis of the relationship between roof thickness and crown stress of excavated repository openings was conducted to establish a criterion for the minimum thickness of the flow interior required for construction in Candidate Repository Horizons. A value of 80 feet was found adequate for construction and to be compatible with the NWRB Conceptual Design. 3 refs., 3 figs
