China: the construction of the Taishan number 1 EPR reactor reaches a major milestone with the setting of the vessel

This article describes some characteristics of the reactor vessel which has recently been introduced in the building of the number 1 EPR reactor of Taishan in China; the construction of this EPR reactor is coordinated by EDF, CGNPC and Areva. It also briefly describes how this introduction has been performed, and evokes the fabrication quality issues and tests
