On a new compound Pb2Sr2Nd4/3Ce2/3Cu3O10+δ

Description
As a result of synthesis at T = 850 deg C in nitrogen atmosphere a new Pb2Sr2Nd4/3Ce2/3Cu3O10+δ compound crystallizing in rhombic crystal system with elementary cell parameters a = 5.475(1), b = 5.445(1), c = 37.01(1) A (Z 4) is produced. After calcination at T = 400 deg C and oxygen pressure of 0.21 or 1 atm the compound undergoes solid-state transformation with formation of a phase having a = 3.8964(8), b = 3.8624(8), c = 37.20(1) A (Z = 2) parameters. Models with structure of produced complex oxides are suggested. According to magnetic measurements results both phases are paramagnets
